"Lucy" was a tough act to follow, she quickly trained us in the art of being beagle owners. She was a real "show girl" - and managed to make her presence felt even with an untrained handler. She was titled at the age of 2 years winning several B.O.B. and In Group awards and was also the winner of the inaugural Novice Bitch award (The Beagle Club of N.S.W.) in 1984 and was awarded Best Headed Bitch at one of the Champ. Shows. Her biggest influence was to be as the foundation bitch for our kennels. She had 4 litters to produce 5 Champions (including a Specialty B.I.S. & Royal B.O.B.) and is behind countless more. All of our beagles carry her lines. She was "one in a million" - a real personality girl, giving us 12 years of love and instilling in us an even greater love for this breed "Lucy" in her heyday She lives on through her descendants Ch.
